Don't worry, we will not re-live the first books story, but we will continue their love story... Mateo and Vera in Love in Spanish will face more twist, turns, and challenges. But the questions now is, how will they handle these situations? Is their love strong enough to surpass the risk of being together?

After the shock of another woman, Mateos soon to be ex wife, Isabel is still being cold. When she picks up Mateos daughter from camp, the other mothers are quick to judge Vera and drama quickly unfolds. When Chloe Anne is forced into the media, Isabel does not like this, and she quick to reprimand Mateos visitation.

Everyone is convinced that Mateo going through a midlife crisis, is Vera really just a fling? Is anyone going to take him serious anymore? Can he truly love a tatted up, 24 year old Canadian girl? Maybe what he needed was to find Vera, and let go of the person that he tried so hard to be and finally find himself. But maybe hes afraid they got off easy, that's there's punishment for their actions.

I am#TeamMateo!!! I wasn't too sure if I ever liked him, I thought he was just trying to be young again. He is totally swoon worthy...and if the cover has any hint of Karinas dream casting for Mateo....oh hellllllo...yummy <3 Mateo absolutely loves Vera. and All the inner dialogue and thoughts was much needed .Thank you Karina Halle for giving us Love in Spanish. It was just what we needed to get into Mateos head. It was both beautiful and emotional all at once. My heart broke over and over for Mateo, Vera, and even Chloe Anne.

Love in Spanish is merely about the consequences of Mateos and Veras actions from Love in English. With the choices they made to be together, there was bound to be consequences. Will Mateo and Vera get their happily ever after?
