I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review**

He was trouble from the start, but I couldn't resist.
[She was the best kind of trouble. The kind that was so wrong, it felt right.]

"I’ve tried and failed to stay away from him.
[I’ve done everything in my power to make her mine and keep her.]

He’s almost impossible to say no to.
[She never tells me yes.]

We’re always fighting.
[When we’re not fighting, we’re… well… making up.]

He makes me laugh so hard.
[I miss her laugh the most.]

I'm a liar.
[She knows the truth, but won’t admit it.]

Sometimes, I wish I'd never met him.
[I wish we could meet all over again. I'd do better.]

His girlfriend knows.
[The guy she’s with is a fool.]

I’ll never love anyone like I love him.
[She doesn’t love me enough to choose us.]

It was the wrong place.
[It was the wrong time.]

It should have been him.
[It will always be her.] "

*This book contains adult situations and is recommended for adult readers.*

I couldn't quit reading Bait. I was completely absorbed by the story. I read other reviews before I started Bait and it was suggested that if I enjoyed Thoughtless  by SC Stephens that I would enjoy this book. Well hell, I think it more plausible and intriguing.

Blake Warren. Youngest of three, graduated from culinary school. When she traveled to San Francisco for her friend Micahs graduation, her boyfriend (or should I say almost fiance) stayed at home. But it all rational thoughts went out the window when she laid on Micahs boyfriends twin, Casey. He completely captivated Blake the moment he set eyes on him, and he was dangerous, he was trouble...but is that just what Blake needed?

GrantHigh maintenance, likes a schedule. Traditional. Classic. All American guy. Her soon-to-be fiance. All the things a boyfriend should be. Or so that's the way Blake described him.

Casey Moore. Low maintenance with his beautiful loose curls and perfect body. Devilishly playful and Easy going. Beer brewer. Blake and Casey were instantly attracted.  He was totally swoon worthy. He was a cheater, but upfront about it. Oh and has some serious bedroom skills!  Hook, Line and Sinker... I AM SUNK !

There is no doubt that Casey and Blake were attracted, both physically and mentally, the moment she laid eyes on him, all coherent and rational thoughts went out the window. She knew it was wrong, but she didn't care in that moment. Have a one-night stand, and then walk away.

"Anything could happen. Anything at all. Looking back, it was the first night of so many that I thought those exact words. Anything I could get from Casey Moore was better than nothing at all,
I would take any scrap of this man  I was offered.  That's the night my heart split into two equal and separate pieces.  That's the night I gave one to a perfect stranger, and the remaining piece felt fuller even being left in half."

A one night stand turned into something more. Blake nor Casey anticipated anything more. They set us out on a damn emotional roller-coaster. My heart couldn't take anymore, but yet I wanted more.

Blake was so wishy washy it drove be friggin nuts!!!! She had the perfect man. For over a year Blake ran around on Grant, and he was absolutely clueless. My heart ached for Casey, but it also ached for Grant. Poor Casey, she drug him around for so long, and he was just so willing for the heartbreak....but then again he knew about Grant...him and Blake were TOTALLY honest with one another. Casey clearly loved Blake or he wouldn't have sat around and waited on her..knowing she with with another man. I do believe Blake loved Casey, HELL I LOVED CASEY...but girl needs to make up her mind and do it fast..I need off this roller-coaster. You can't have your cake and eat it too!!

I normally don't even read books with cheating. Typically, the other cheats because their significant other is not around or they are abusive..but from what we learned, Grant is a damn great guy. For the record... I don't cheat, there is something addicting about reading about it. I am always on the edge of my Kindle, waiting for someone to find out or for something to fall through. Unfortunately, we only know what Blake told us about Grant...he wasn't in the story much. We didn't get much background on him, nor where there much connection with him.

The whole book lead to one moment...and when we finally reached that point...I thought it would go down differently. And talk about a dagum HOLY CLIFFHANGER!!!! GEEZ.... I need the next book...I need to know what happens!

This is the first book I've read by M Mabie. And if will not be my last. Blake and Casey owned my Saturday <3
