Book Description:
"Sometimes fate strikes in unexpected ways...
Lucy Dalton was tired of living a life she didn't
want.
Charlie Mathews was living the life he always
wanted.
But one night, fate changes the course of their
lives forever. A year later, Lucy and Charlie's paths meet again, igniting a
spark that neither can deny.
Lucy knows he doesn't remember her, but she's
already in too deep.
Charlie knows the unwritten family rule: Mathews
men never admit when they're broken. Can they leave the past where it belongs and find
a way to look beyond the orange moon?"
Beyond the Orange Moon follows the story of
Charlie Matthews after a major tragedy struck his life. Charlie Matthews is the hot older brother of Dylan Matthews who we met in Under the Orange Moon. Charlie was the one who was well on his way to making his dreams come true. He had everything that he ever wanted and more.
Lucy Dalton, a nursing school drop out, is trying to discover what she is looking for in life. She doesn't want her mothers dreams for her anymore but can't quite figure out what will make her happy. All Lucy knows is that she loves baking cupcakes. Baking is her emotional outlet.
When Charlie's world is rocked and turned upside down on what should be one of the greatest days of his life, he begins to shut down. He tries to figure out what he needs to do to move forward but isn't sure he can handle it. It's at this point that he winds up in the coffee shop where Lucy is working.

This book was the first one in a while that caused me to cry big fat UGLY tears. I mean The Notebook sized tears.
I didn’t
know if I could even finish reading but I boy am I glad that I did. Just as
quickly as you are crying Adrienne has you laughing and swooning. You want to
jump into the book and make cupcakes with Lucy or eat them with the Matthews
brothers. Either way it's a win-win. I will take ALL of the Matthews brothers with some cupcakes. Adrienne, can you make this happen?
