"When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, anisolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.
Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love."

6 heartbreaking, swoon worthy Archer Stars Goes on the top books I've read in 2014 ! This book is a stand alone by Mia Sheridan, and there are NO CLIFFHANGERS!! That alone should make you want to snatch this book up. If you're a fan of Mia, you are going to fall in love with Archer's Voice.

description

'And I thought to myself, Archer Hale's voice was one of the most beautiful things in the whole wide world.'

Archer’s Hale family is full of dark secrets. The biggest one of them is what happened one night, when tragic accident killed Archer’s closest family members and left him unable to speak. What lead to that tragic night and what really happened there remains a secret that no one knows, and the only person who survived it lives now recluse and can’t talk. And truth be told, nobody wants to talk to him anyway. So after his uncle died, he lives completely alone. Until he meets Bree and everything changes. Bree is starting over in a new town, trying to escape her traumatizing past, that involved the murder of her father. She goes to Pelion, Maine where she rents a cabin to stay for indefinite amount of time. This is where she bumps into Archer Hale. Something about him lures her in until they both can't stay away from each other. But they both need to heal, and they're demons could destroy that wonderful connection that they share.

The story was beautiful and emotional and my heart ached and I cried. And I wanted so bad for Archer to find peace and happiness. Archer's Voice is one of those stories that touches you on the deepest levels. It makes you think, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry, but most of all it makes you FEEL!!
