"In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.
Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.
But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.
Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated.
Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter.
And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel."
Dallas was raised by her father, also known as Coach Cole. She has lived football every day of her life. Through every new town, new school, and new friends, football was the one thing that never changed. And when you spend that much time with something, you either love it or loathe it. Her father will not let her leave Texas to follow her dreams of dancing, so she is stuck at Rusk University, unable to start fresh and live the college dream, because with one wrong move, and it'll get back to her father.

Dallas gets pulled out of her dorm by her roommate and best friend, Stella, to a frat party. There she runs into the one thing she hates more then football, football players. Yay, Dallas is stuck at her first frat party with the ex who broke her heart, Levi Abrams, who just so happens to be Rusk Universities Quarterback. Dallas tries to escape Levi, and only runs into another football player, whom she soon overhears having a conversation with her ex. Trying to escape another football player, Dallas ends up on the edge of a balcony, attempting to jump off and run! Its then, she lands in the arms of Carson. Carson and Dallas instantly connect, I do not only mean that literally she lands ON-TOP of him, but neither one of them really wants to be at the party, they spend some time together and end up sharing a steamy kiss.

Carson. second string football player that transferred from a Junior College, has a lot on his plate. He has to prove to himself, to his parents, and to the Coach that he is scholarship worthy. So far the plan to stay focused on academics and football is working out perfectly, right on track..until Dallas lands in his arms.

Dallas and Carson both try to fight the attraction between them, and decide become friends, but soon it becomes impossible, as they both find themselves wanting more.

Anyone can write a steamy romance that involves a football player, but All Lined Up is more then just that. Its about hard-work, dedication, friendship, and love. Both Dallas and Carson have to work for what they ultimately want, and neither of the two hold the other back. I absolutely love that Cora did not overwhelm us with steamy sex scenes, but rather she built up to a beautiful love scene.
