"-LUCY-
There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
He promised me that love forever.
Even when it wasn't enough.

-CAMERON-
Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.
There is no measure of time.
No sounds of the ticking of a clock.
Just the rising and falling of the sun.
And our own sense of forever.

But our forever isn't always."

More Than Forever is book four in the More series and should not be read prior to reading the previous books in the series.

If you've read the first half of the More Series, including More Than ThisMore Than Her, and More Than Him, then you will fall in love with More Than Forever just like I did.

We first met Lucy & Cameron in More Than This with the story of Jake and Mikayla.

Lucy is an amazing heroine. She’s feisty, humorous, intelligent, and willing to give her all for those she loves. She has amazing strength but at the same time is quite fragile due to everything she’s been through in her short life. I love how obsessed with reading Lucy is; she’s a girl after my own heart. It makes sense that she wants to lose herself in fictional plots because she needs that escape…a break from her life. Despite all of the hardships, Lucy’s light still shines with Cameron’s help, which makes her my favorite heroine of the More series.

More than Forever Kiss
Cameron – how swoonworthy is he? He wears his heart on his sleeve, and he would help heal the world if he could. He’s Lucy’s everything…her forever, and that is his most important job. Does he have “guy” moments? Absolutely. But through all of the chaos, he remains 100 % committed to Lucy, and no one could ask for more.

"If heartbreak had a face, hers would be it."
Cameron meets Lucy through her two brothers, Liam and Lincoln, when after practice, he spots her on the bleachers. A lone girl sits on the bottom bench, reading, while rocking a stroller back and forth. Some time later, they briefly have an encounter at her mothers funeral, and she lets her tears go on his chest. After Lucy does not return to school, Cameron shows up at her door step.He steps in and helped Lucy when she needed it. He became her strength and support. He saved her when she didn't think she needed it. He became a role model for her brothers.
"Because in a time of nothing but pain, and anger, and emptiness, and hurt....he healed me.
He made it stop.
He made it better.
He made me fall in love.
Love.
I love him."
Like any other relationship, they went through a rough patch. And it was painful. My heart broke into pieces. It just couldn't be helped... I was a sobbing mess, but their characters captivate you with their maturity, love and calmness to deal with whatever fate has to throw at them.

More Than Forever may not be a fairy tale because all of the pain Lucy and Cam endure can only be found in reality, but it is a story of fate…a story of the kind of love that everyone aspires to have…a story of the forever kind!

One of Jay McLean’s talents as a writer is her ability to create a cast of characters that literally come alive through her words. They are complex, dynamic heroes and heroines who readers grow to love and respect as we watch them endure all of the trials and tribulations that are brought their way.

The supporting characters in the More series are just as important as the main ones. Cam and Luce’s circle of friends share an amazing bond that anyone would kill to have. They know they can rely on one another no matter the circumstances and that is clearly illustrated in MTF as well as the previous three books. And then there’s the parents…they’re amazing. I didn’t think anyone could match up to Logan’s father, and then Jay introduces readers to Mark – Cam’s step dad. How he steps up for Cam throughout the entire book is breathtaking. He gives of himself without expecting anything in return, which makes sense that Cam is the exact same way.

imageI will have to say, the banter between Cameron & Lucy is hilarious. Heck, the banter between all the characters had me going.
Clitorusaurus-rex.
Ham Wallets.
Wizard Sleeves.
Meat curtains.
Coin Purse.
Pink sink.
Punaani.

"There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured. A heart so strong it will never slow. there is a promise so sure it can never lie. And we promise that love forever. Forever and always."
More than Forever is my new favorite of the series. Not that I don't hold the other three super close to my heart, but Cam and Lucy's story is so special. You may think you know their story...you've seen it unfold in books 1 - 3, right? Nope. You just saw the surface. MTF takes you on a journey that will leave you breathless. It will make you feel. You will feel it down to your bones. And that's all I'm going to say, because you need to go into this story blind and feel it every step of the way.

This is by far MY #1 Read of 2014! Without a doubt one of the best series I have ever read. Jay McLean writes young profound love flawlessly. She has created young raunchy humor and pivotal first love feelings perfectly with each book in the More series. However, nothing is as amazing as the story of Cameron and Lucy.
