"Drama. Lies. Sex.
Welcome to Palm South University.
The weather isn’t the only thing heating up in South Florida. At a school where fraternities and sororities don’t exactly play by the rules, relationships are bound to be tested. Parties and sex are definitely key ingredients in the Palm South recipe, but what happens when family issues, secret lives, and unrequited love get tossed in the mix?
Follow Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam as they tackle college at a small, private beach town university. Written in television drama form, each episode of this serial will pull you deeper and deeper into the world of PSU.
Where the sun is hot and the clothes are scarce, anything can happen."

Oh Palm South, I think I'm beginning to fall in love with you, is it too late to enroll? Episode four of course brings more heat to the girls and guys of PSU, with Episode four focusing more on Cassie, Jess and Skyler, but it wouldn't be a good story line if there wasn't drama, right?

I feel bad for Cassie, having kissed Adam in the episode before and he tries to friend zone her. What guy does that? Why would they do that? I get it, he thinks Cassie is too innocent or pure or what ever it was he said and maybe he's right but I feel as if this sets him up for future failure. A kiss like that stays on ones mind, like Cassie's. Aside from that little dilemma, she also has to deal with her bitch of a roommate and soon to be ex best friend. Thanks for getting us into a dorm together! Not.

As if that isn't enough, poor Jess having to act normal around her one night stand from episode one. He wants to talk, she doesn't. I personally would not turn away that hot piece of ass. Come on, don't act shocked, you wouldn't either. So, she thinks she can push him away? Make him jealous. This girl has guts.

Meanwhile, Skyler and Bear haven't talked since he told her to mind her own business. Dudes got issues man. He doesn't understand us girls. Lets face it though, most guys don't understand girls and vice versa. One of the best traits about Bear is that he does know how to listen, he may not know everything about Skyler yet but she does care for her and that's definitely the best thing anyone could ask for.

In this episode it is also Halloween time, which means dressing up and getting drunk! The costumes these girls come up with are pretty great. I personally love that Cassie's options were Ariel or a zombie bride. Talk about two different things. I also love how Skyler told Adam he could dress up with her but gave the poor guy three options. As the episode comes to an end, someone shows a jealous side, Skyler gets more recognition and thinks maybe Adam isn't just a fun hookup. Should he be? Or should they be official?

Oh episode three, where do I begin. Things just keep getting better and better with the main POVs being Ashlei, Adam and Erin. It really is amazing hearing from so many different voices. Wow, that makes me sound crazy, I can;t imagine what it feels like to be an author and have all these voices in my head.

Any who, we start back up with Ashlei. Finally learning what she's been hiding from everyone and what a secret it is. Of course I can't tell you what it is, that would make so much sense and spoil it for you. Don't worry, nothing illegal. Yet.

Next we hear from Adam who is trying to bring his fraternity back up and get more people interested in it. We also get to meet Jeremy who is helping Adam pass out fliers for a concert. Unfortunately we also meet Clay, Adams dick of a president who essentially does not want to have the house get any recognition. Why would you want that? Personally I don't understand him and wish someone would punch him right in the nose.

The next little chapter is told in Erin's POV and starts off talking with Siomara about her last initiation which also leads to talking about Cassie, all good things I promise, she is the newest member to their family line being that she's Cassie's little. We also learn a little more about Erin's family, but only a little. More of that to come in season two.

All in all I would say episode three kept us on our feet, as for me I loved it and couldn't wait to delve into more of it. I do have some feelings towards a few of the characters and what they're doing or thinking. Some times I wanted to jump down their throats others I wanted to slap (*EHEM* Clay) I just don't understand that guy and I don't think I ever will.

In episode two things start to heat up and become juicier as well, this episode only being in the POVs of Jess Skyler and Bear. We start with Jess who finds out something terrifying in her Wednesday night class and I'm sure if you think about it you may be able to figure out what I mean.

Skyler decides she wants Cassie to be her Little and reminisces back to when she knew she wanted Erin as her big. You also learn more about Skyler and how she is on the fast track to becoming well known in the poker world. Although Bear mentioned it in Episode one she explains why she plays a little more. This also causes her to miss the first Omega Chi Beta social, her sisters don't exactly understand why she plays but once you read it, you will.

Bears little is an asshole. You learn so much more of what he is capable of in season two, unfortunately or fortunately for you, I can't share that. No spoilers from this little one. Despite the fact that they received a noise violation he still insists on throwing the first unofficial social of the semester, a stop light theme. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Meanwhile, Jess learns that her little doesn't want to take a little because while she was a little, she never learned what it felt like to have a big because Jess was too busy being close to her big Stacy.

Circling back to Skyler she starts to be a big to her little, helping her learn more about the college life and growing pains. She really is a great pick for anyone, it makes me want to know her in real life. She also explains the nicknames everyone in their close group has, mostly fitting to everyone of them.

As the episode wraps up, Omega Chi Beta learns how much trouble these noise violations are getting them into. Too many of them or too many warnings from nationals and alumni and they could be suspended, that should be enough to make them cool it, but like I said Bears little is an asshole..

I'm not entirely sure why I waited so long to dive into the PSU world, I know from past experience that Kandi works magic with her words. Just like with Weightless, I bombarded her with my thoughts while I read PSU and it's amazing being able to talk to the person who brought something so incredible into my life. PSU is a set of serial novellas that came out every week, just enough suspense in between each one to make us readers go stir crazy.

In episode one you meet pretty much everyone you'll need to know by the end of season one, being that each chapter is a different character which is probably the best part about PSU. The first person you meet is Cassie, a pretty red head from Arizona, moving to Florida with her best friend and fellow red head Paris. Going away to college and rushing a sorority  with your best friend seems like a pretty genius idea, right?

Cassie quickly learns by the end of episode one that maybe her and Paris aren't as close as she thinks they were. The most obvious thing is the different houses they want to rush. Where as Cassie didn't feel a connection with any of the houses, it all changes when she leaves the KKB house. Paris on the other hand wants to go to a house that isn't "so boring" as she put it.

The next person you meet is Bear and let me tell you, I want him as my best friend and big brother. He is the best thing ever, think of your BFF goals and that is Bear. His real name being Clinton, I would try to find a cool nickname like Bear too. His blood family may not be the best, save for his little brother Clayton, but getting to choose your family, now that is the best thing in life.

Next comes Jess one of the girls in KKB that Cassie met during her tour. You can tell just from the beginning that this girl is going to cause some trouble along the way. When Jess sneaks out of the KKB house to get drunk and hopefully hook up with someone she wasn't prepared for the strong need for round two. Hell, I would want a million rounds with the guy she describes.

The end of episode one circles back to Cassie and she struggles with which sorority to pick. does she go with KKB, the only house she actually felt comfortable in or should she go with another house? Does she want to be in the same house as Paris to try and stay friends, is it even worth it? Sitting at a pond on campus the last night she has to choose a house, Cassie talks to a girl that she knows is in a sorority but as it would be considered "dirty rushing" she doesn't know until the embroidered letters on this strange girls bag gives her away.

The problem with "suiciding" a house is that if they don't want you, then you don't have a house to run to when the time comes. The next day all of the girls rushing are forced to sit on their envelopes that give them their fate. Does Cassie have a home to run to or will she end up alone and have Paris shun her? Will Paris shun her when they end up in different houses? Why is Paris such a shitty friend? (I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE ANSWER TO THAT ONE *EHEM*) When they get to open their bids and run home, Paris acts like Cassie was only supposed to choose Zeta and not have her own choice.

When Cassie gets to the KKB house she realizes just how much magic the pond from the night before really held when she sees the girl. Though this is only the beginning of season one, things seem to be falling a little bit more into place.
