"There’s no emotion greater than fear.
No ache greater than grief.
No sound greater than silence.
***
I’m grateful he showed up on my doorstep,
pissed off and angry at the world.
If he hadn’t, I wouldn’t be here.
And I don’t just mean here on this journey with him.
I mean here, in this world.
*
I wonder what events in all our lives—hers included—are The Turning Points? The points where we all determine that the fear of our pasts and the uncertainty of our futures are greater than our need for happiness.
Here.
Now.
While time and everything around us stands unmoving… who’s to say we can’t have it all?
***
We wanted it all.
We wanted it with each other.
We thrived on the chaos we created.
And ignored the Mayhem that ensued.
Because falling in love was easy.
But sometimes, love isn’t enough."

More Than 5 Stars Read <3

So.... I've waited on this book for way too long... FINALLY... DYLAN BANKS: Meet the man behind the silence!!

What do we know about Dylan Banks? Hes in the military. He and Heidi are high school sweethearts. He has a kick ass group of friends. Although we never got to know Dylan much in the previous 4 books, we were offered glimpses of him and Heidi thru the eyes of his friends.

Drum roll pleaseee....

Not even one chapter in and Jay is setting us up for heartbreak...for an epic fall.

There are moments in our lives that will lay out the path for the rest of our lives.... and at any moment, things could change. Back in town on medical after getting hurt in Afghanistan, it seems as if Dylan Banks life is at a standstill, unmoving. Fear, grief, and anger, the warzone in Afghanistan has trapped him, both physically and mentally, and everything keeps taking him back. What will it take to move Dylan? Will it be a love, his friends, or the semi-darkness and silence of an unspoken understanding?

I didn't know what to expect when I started this story. But holy batman!! I might jump ship #TeamCam -> #TeamDylan ! Dylan is a man after my heart. #SorryCam

Grief stricken and broken, both Dylan and "her" are struggling to make it another day. They stumble into a makeshift "relationship"... One gets drunk and one gets mad.... He sleeps. She writes. He watches. She cries.... it may not be perfect and neither are they, but their love is undeniable. Lifes too short, and no matter how much it hurts, its better then the alternative. Can the two of them be the comfort and silence the other needs? Will they be more than enough or will the guilt destroy any and all hope they have at happiness?

"I feel like I'm the sky and the earth is reality. And the horizon... it's just the sky and the earth appearing to touch, but they never do. I want to touch reality."

The entire More Than Series Gang is fuckin BACK and at Operation Mayhem again ! I literally laughed out loud.I can't get enough of the Gang and their antics. You are seriously going to laugh so hard you cry!

"Lucy: Every little girls wishes for a pony. You got eleventy-three of them. Whats the big deal?"

The More Than Gang is growing up...but the game remains the same. Operation Mayhem: Retaliation. Fight or die.

I loved the dynamics between all of the secondary characters. Dylans brother, Eric, whom of which I didn't think I was going to like based on the very beginning of the book with the "Wrong hole asshole" comment... surprised me. Both Eric and Dylans father play such a huge role and big influence in Dylans life. I love the playful, brotherly side of Eric and Dylan. But I also love, that regardless of the choices and fuck ups that Dylan faces... they are there for him. Also, his friends, they are quick to accept and they have an unconditional love for one another.

The feels and emotions evoked by this book is nothing short of amazing ! I laughed and I cried (legit tears for both) ... but more than anything, I felt.  Jays writing never ceases to amaze me, her words were equally heartbreaking and heartwarming.
More Than Enough is worth of more than 5 stars. I think everyone needs to experience the soul-crashing, heart-stealing, life-changing, guilt-free, Semper Fidelis L.O.V.E. of Dylan and his girl.

Who is this girl you ask? I can't tell you... you MUST find out for yourself. But believe me... you think you have it all figured out, you have no idea... will the two of them be More Than Enough ?

"Dreams- they do come true."
