What’s the worst thing about wanting a sexy NFL football player? Everyone else wants him, too.

After catching my boyfriend getting deep-throated by a skanky cage girl, I’ve learned my lesson – never date a professional athlete. Never. Besides, I have more important things to worry about, like not blowing my shot to make it as a broadcast reporter. I won’t let anything get in my way, not even the new “it boy” of the NFL and my hot-as-hell neighbor.

What's the worst thing about getting death glares from his new neighbor? It doesn't make him want her any less.

I’ve worked my ass off to make it to the pros. The last thing I need is the complication of a relationship, especially since my last one was a total train wreck. But I can’t stop thinking about the feisty girl next door with the smart mouth. And I’d love nothing more than to show her what to do with that mouth.

Friends with benefits might be the best idea he’s ever had. Or the worst.

Kissing Madeline is a companion novel to DEAREST CLEMENTINE and FINDING DANDELION. Each book is a stand-alone.
I am a huge Lex Martin fan and I was so hyped to get an ARC of Kissing Madeline in exchange for an honest review. Lex Martin knows how to give happy endings and wrap up a story with a huge bow. It's about time Daren got his story.... in Dearest Clementine and Finding Dandelion we were sorta left with a sour taste that is Daren Sloan. And I really felt like we needed to hear his side of the story, and for him to redeem himself.

Madeline McDermott, you beautiful, smart, and confident journalist... When Madeline walks in on her boyfriend of over a year talking dirty too and getting blowed by another woman, Madeline captures it on her cell phone, and walks away.... the video to remind herself of why she left. She lands on the doorstep of her best friends, Sheri, condo... determined to look on the bright side, with her new job as a reporter, new roomie, and her new neighbor ;)

Daren Sloan, you sexy man that i'd love to jump in bed with.... Daren has finally made his way to the NFL! And after the failed relationship with his latest girlfriend of almost 4 years, Veronica...he is not looking for commitment. With a new team, about a hundred plays to learn, and the stress of the NFL. the last thing he needs are head games, and women definitely mean head games. That is until he runs into Maddie...literally.
"To call him beautiful is an understatement. He's a five-alarm fire of a man, and that's with his clothes on."
KM wildcatThe two of them literally run into each other...and when their eyes meet each others...its like a fate encounter. For the two of them are no strangers, and now...neighbors.

Maddie wants to write about news that matters, but when she lands the task of reporting about the Heisman winner, Daren, she is less then thrilled. But...the viewers love their flirtatious interview and want to see more. Determined to loosen things up, Daren invites Maddie and her co-worker Nicole to a party. And it all goes from there... Maddie and Daren strike up a secret..."friendship....." or should I say... "friends with benefits." And the two of them can not get enough of each other. As their friends with benefits relationship progresses...you can guess that feelings begin to get involved. There is NO denying the electricity between the two.

The banter and comedy that I love so much is back as Clem, Gavin, Dandelion, Jax and all their friends make their appearance. And of course....the famous "out skank" game has yet to die. Without giving away anything...lets just say Lex throws in a little drama and a "scandal" forms.  Has Daren really changed and can he truly redeem himself? Or will the two part ways forever?

Each book in the Dearest Series is a standalone, so you can start reading any one of them in no particular order, but I would definitely save this one for last because, again, that epilogue!!!!

If you don't own Dearest Clementine yet, you're in luck!!! It's FREE right now!
