Stay. Stay with me. Stay here. Stay close. Stay like this forever. Stay as happy as I am right here in your arms, always.

All I’ve ever wanted was to be loved, but if this is what true love is…I’m not so sure I want it anymore. It also makes me wonder if any of my memories of our once happy marriage are even real. Maybe I just conjured up the fairy tale in my head because I wanted…no…needed it so much. Who the hell knows?
“Molly just called to remind you about your book club meeting this afternoon.” He turns away. “I told her you’ve never missed a meeting and I doubt today would be any different.”
The door shuts behind him before I let a smile creep across my lips. Instantly, the hurt from this morning flees my mind and I feel nothing but giddiness. I have a book club meeting today, and let’s just say it’s not your everyday book club.
Sure, my husband may never truly love me again…but who needs love when you’re about to get an eyeful of hot firemen?

First off I have to say that this is the cutest book cover I've ever seen. Sure, I love looking at the half naked men on most covers just as much as anyone else, but I once saw Julie say she wanted something for this book that didn't make it look like it was all about sex, because it's not. You want to read porn, go read Fifty Shades of Grey again. you want a sweet romantic book about true love then pick this up pronto.
When we first start off we learn that Liz is married to a very rude person, who cares that he married a size 6 and she no longer is that size? Marrying someone you love doesn't mean you should stop loving them if they gain some weight. That's like throwing away a candy bar because you left it in the sun too long. Who does that? I mean, I love melted chocolate bars. YUM.
Liz along with her three best friends have a book club, always meeting at the top of the hill on certain days. The days they meet, you ask? The days the firemen right down the road and ironically have to walk up that hill.
Of course the guys have figured out that's why the ladies picked that spot to meet. The friendships they've formed with the ladies is quite funny and very sweet. I feel these guys would do anything to protect the ladies or this particular book club. Unfortunately, Ryan has not learned how very open these ladies are.
"What's up, Boss?" I ask Owen, the biggest one of them. I toss a water his way and he drops it. "You know you have the coordination of a teeballer. What's up with that?" Owen is built like The Rock and clumsy as hell. "I can't believe they trust you with a hose."
"I can handle my hose just fine, Liz." He winks at me and I can't help but laugh.
"If you weren't such a meathead, you might find someone to handle it for you," I tease.
"Damn, Liz. I'm starting to get uncomfortable here. You seem to have a fascination with my dick. First you were talking about my hose and now my meat. What's next?"
A snicker catches my attention, and that's when I notice him. A new guy. And a hot one at that.
"Would you prefer I talk about your cock?" I ask the newbie. It usually takes me a while to adjust to the surroundings of this crew of stunning firemen, but when I do, all bets are off. Call me Tootsie; I'm on a roll now.
He clears his throat and shakes his head. "Excuse me?" His eyes go wide. "No. No thank you. I'd prefer to get to know you better before we talk about my...cock"
And that is how Ryan meets Lizzy. I love that part of the book. Heck, I love this whole book but that is one of the best first meetings I've ever read about in a book. The chemistry between Lizzy and Ryan is unmistakable, right from the start you can tell they have chemistry. Maybe she'll leave that douchebag husband of hers? One could only hope.
When Ryan and Lizzy spend more time together, they both start to grow feelings for the other, there is just one HUGE problem. She's still married. For now.
I kept waiting for that moment that Ryan found out about Jace, I knew it wouldn't be good. But maybe that was the push Liz needed? After Ryan finds out, Liz has a moment of clarity and runs Jace over with her car. I know what you're thinking. "REALLY?" No I'm lying, that would be a huge spoiler and I like to keep my reviews as spoiler free as possible.
"He. Is. Better-than-any-deliciously-sexy-hot-book-boyfriend. Awesome."
When Ryan and Lizzy finally talk things out, she is hounded by her friends. They really only want to know the good stuff.
"Yeah, like did you get to handle his hose yet?" Molly asks, fluttering her own brows up and down.
To have the answer to that question and any others you may have, you'll have to pick up your own copy of Tell Me You Love Me. I can't give everything away!
Julie Prestsater did an amazing job sucking me into the black hole that is her world. I love her writing tons and sometimes stalk her. You should to!
