One night changed her life…
Bestselling author Amelia Greyson has grown up in the music industry and isn’t the slightest bit fazed by fame or celebrities. However, when she attends a Bastards and Dangerous concert with her best friend Belle, her world shifts on its axis.
Double trouble…
Sawyer and Noah Weston are the front men of BAD. They’re fraternal twins and sexy as sin. When they hear the author of The O Factor is in their green room, they’re intrigued. She’s just the person they need to write their farewell story. The brothers offer Amelia the opportunity of a lifetime, which she reluctantly accepts.
Three hearts…
Noah is sweet and considerate, working hard to make Amelia feel at home on the road. Unfortunately, the closer they get, the more obnoxious Sawyer becomes. Sawyer is arrogant and distant and he wants Amelia, even though she’s not his for the taking. Only during stolen moments does Sawyer show her who he really is. Can Amelia maintain a safe distance from Sawyer and keep her heart intact? Or will she shatter Noah’s heart by giving hers to his brother instead?
Just an Illusion – Side A is the first book in The Illusion Series.
My Review:
The Story.
His. Mines. Theirs. and Ours.
Amelia Greyson is a writer, to a best selling book, The O Factor. Her best friend Belle, music editor at Slammed Magazine, invites her to a Bastards and Dangerous (AKA: BAD) concert, and she is the least bit thrilled, as she is no stranger to the music industry. Belle has landed an exclusive interview and wants Amelia's author expertise, as BAD is about to reveal some major news. a New acoustic album, year long worldwide tour, and then after....RETIREMENT. And they want Slammed to follow them for the next year..to get all the insiders, post concert dates, etc. But guess what? It does not end there. Amelia is also offered a once in a lifetime opportunity... to go on tour with BAD for a year and document...the good, the bad and the ugly in an Biography, as well as a book tour and book publishing deal! Exorcise the bad by doing something good? Amelia reluctantly accepts the offer, but will Amelia be able to let the demons of her past go?
Rough around the edges, with dimples that could kill, Sawyer Weston finds solace in whatever girl is closest. Burnt by his past, he's got walls stories high, could Amelia be the key to getting him to open up again?
Fraternal twin, Noah Weston, with his beautiful eyes and coppery brown hair, is the total opposite of his brother. Sweet and considerate, Amelia is slowly falling for this BAD boy. Can Amelia maintain a safe distance from Sawyer and keep her heart intact? Or will the stolen moments with Sawyer shatter Noah’s heart, by giving hers to his brother instead?"He's like the sin I don't ever want to repeat."
As Mel joins the BAD boys on their tour bus... shes quickly reminded of her past, which is not my story to tell.. shes adapting quickly, trying to remain professional with BAD. Everyone is absolutely taken by Mel. But the more time she spends with Noah... the more upset Sawyer gets. As word spreads of Mel and Noahs relationship, someone from Noahs past shows up. Beautiful, jealous, and psychotic...she puts everyone one alert the remainder of the tour.
I love any book by D Kelly!! Although i'm a huge fan, I came into Just an Illusion, completely blind and with an open mind. 6% I'm messaging D laughing.. i'm so enthralled by the book, that I can't put it down...and yes i'm reading it in stolen moments AT work...I know my co workers heard me literally LAUGHING OUT LOUD! This Rock-star romance will LITERALLY leave you SCREAMING!!
Just an Illusion, is nothing short of amazing. All of the characters are well developed, and one couple in particular could definitely have their own spin-off ::wink wink D::

I'm a wife, a mom and a dog lover. I'm also a taxi, problem fixer, extreme multi-tasker and my kids’ biggest fan in anything that they do. I’m married to my high school sweetheart... how cool is that? Margaritas and sarcasm make me happy. Chocolate makes that happiness grow exponentially. People who make me laugh are my favorite kind of people. I believe Karma is real and mean people suck. I'm California born and raised, I love the beach but hate the sand. And of course I believe Starbucks makes any day better. I’m the author of The Acceptance Series and Chasing Cassidy with more books soon to come.
