Synopsis

So you may ask, who is Adam Connor? He is the recently divorced, Academy Award-winning actor who just moved in next door with his kid. He also happens to be an exquisite male specimen and the most infuriating sly bastard I’ve ever come across.

Let’s be honest here, wouldn’t you wanna take a peek over the wall to catch a glimpse of him, hopefully when he is naked? Wouldn’t you melt away after watching him work out as his five-year-old kid cheered him on? Do I even have to mention those abs, the big bulge in his pants, or that arm porn? Oh, wait, you would never spy on him? Sure…

While I was being thoughtful by not breaking and entering and was actually considering going over to offer him a shoulder—or maybe a boob or two—to cry on (y’know, because of his divorce), instead he had me thrown in jail after a small incident. Jail, people! He was supposed to grant me countless orgasms as a thank you, not a jail cell.

After that day, I was mentally plotting ways to strangle him instead of jumping his bones to make sweet love. So what if my body did more than just shiver when he whispered dirty little things in my ear? I can’t be held responsible for that. And when was the last time he’d kissed anyone anyway? Who’d enjoy a kiss with a side of heart attack?

Even if he and his son were the best things since sliced bread—and I’m not saying he was—I couldn’t fall for him. No matter what promises he whispered on my skin, my curse wouldn’t let us be. I wasn’t a damsel in distress—I could save myself, thank you very much—but deep inside, I still hoped Adam Connor would be the hero of my story.

Have you ever wondered what was lurking over your neighbors fence? Is he hot? Were you just dying to get just a little peek? Lucy was staying with her best friend Olive after a rough breakup when she found out that "THE ADAM CONNOR" was her neighbor. She decided that it really couldn't hurt to just push a ladder up against a wall and steal a little glance at him, right?

What she discovers on the other side of the wall is the most gorgeous man she has ever laid eyes on. While she doesn't believe in love she does believe in the motto of "You know what they say: to get over someone you should get under someone else". She begins checking out Adam frequently. She can't help it. "There is something called forearm porn. You know that right?"

What started out as a little glance quickly became a routine adventure for Lucy (and sometimes even Olive) until one day when Lucy sees that Adam's son is in trouble. She has to quickly make a decision of outing herself or helping Aiden (Adam's son). Lucy made the right decision but what happened next was just the beginning of her hatred towards Adam. Adam wouldn't let Lucy explain why she was there and thought that she was just another obsessed fan. Lucy made a pact with herself that she would just hate Adam Connor from that day forward.

                                            

She no longer wanted to spy on Adam yet the ladder never quite found its way back to the shed. Through a series of unfortunate/fortunate events Adam and Lucy kept crossing paths. This led to Lucy developing a relationship with Aiden. Aiden and Lucy became friends and honestly Aiden needed that. No spoilers here...you will have to read the book to find out why! 

This book tells the story of a cursed friendship/pathway to love. One that on the surface seems familiar yet impossible. Adam and Lucy's story has so many obstacles just like life. Adam's not yet ex-wife, Lucy's ex-boyfriend who still loves her, news that could rock anyones life, stalkers, paparazzi, etc

Yet unlike life it's filled with ADAM! Where do I buy me one of those? Is there an Adam store? Anybody...hello....
