Hat Trick by Kristen Hope Mazzola

Hat Trick by Kristen Hope Mazzola
Spoiler Free Review by Krystal

"One accident - a freaking car crash.

That’s all it took to send my brother’s and my life into a tailspin with no end in sight. I was going to be something. I was going to be the best. I had the Olympics in my sights. And it all went to shit in one flash. Brayden wasn’t ready to raise a younger sister when I was thrown into his lap. He had his life and everything going for him. Thankfully, he was still drafted to his dream hockey team. The same one dad played for when we were growing up.

It took time, but I started to get better, started to open up, started skating and even dating again. I even thought I found the perfect guy for me.

Isn’t it funny how guys hit on you when they know you’re not available, but when you’re single they won’t give you the freaking time of day? I guess the game is more fun that way. And for the captain of my brother’s team, that’s exactly what I was. A hat trick is three goals in hockey. Some say three is a crowd and they might be right.

I was Gavin Hayes' unobtainable goal.

Five minutes until the interview begins.

Fresh on the heels of her college graduation, Cameron Heart has landed an interview at a prestigious architecture firm.

Four minutes until the interview.

She knows she’s only there because the owner, Grayson Cole, is her older sister’s friend.

Three minutes.

For the last seven years, Grayson has been the most intimidating man Cammie has ever had the pleasure, or displeasure, of being around.

Two Minutes.

But the job opportunity is too good to pass up. So, Cammie will have to ignore the fact that Grayson is handsome enough to have his own national holiday.

One.

After all, she shouldn’t feel that way about her new boss. And, he will be her new boss.

“I’m not intimidated by you,” I said with a confident smile.
“Perhaps we should fix that, Ms. Heart. Close the door.”

"I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.

I also hadn't got laid in three years. Hadn't been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup... a while ago.

Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.

The issue is his secret.
The issue is her.
The issue is that I don't even know she exists, and he thinks she's dead.
The issue is that shit is about to hit the fan and I can't hold on to him tight enough."

I LOVE Alessandra Torre and when I learned of Tight, I was super excited...she never disappoints. The thing I love about Alessandra's books: You never know what to expect. I always go into her books completely blind.

Undone by Amy Marie

Undone is the second book by new author Amy Marie. Her first book, Unexpected, follows the story of Erin and Walker while Undone follows characters introduced in the first book. The nice thing about Undone is that you do not need to read both books in order to understand what is happening with the characters. They can be read independently but you will enjoy it so much more by reading both books.

Undone follows the stories of Trent and Noelle. Trent is Erin’s brother and has been friends with Noelle for many years. They have helped each other through difficult times and are struggling to find out what, exactly, they mean to each other. Enter Jace, the hottie with an air of cockiness about him that Noelle meets in a local coffee shop. Noelle has a difficult decision to make as she struggles to find the man that is meant for her.

I love both of Amy’s books. They are sweet and sassy at the same time. The story is full of rainbows and butterflies but just the right amount of conflict. If you are looking for a book that wraps up with a giant bow, this is for you!!

"When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, anisolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.
Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love."

6 heartbreaking, swoon worthy Archer Stars Goes on the top books I've read in 2014 ! This book is a stand alone by Mia Sheridan, and there are NO CLIFFHANGERS!! That alone should make you want to snatch this book up. If you're a fan of Mia, you are going to fall in love with Archer's Voice.
